After the success of Malifieicnt, Disney has been back at work bringing another one of the beloved animated classics to life in the form of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book.
The fan favorite follows Mogli (played by newcomer Neel Sethi) as he encounters Bagheera, Kaa, Shere Khan, King Louie, and my personal favorite Baloo.
The latest trailer, which aired during Super Bowl 50, shows us how the voices stack up to their characters, giving us a brief glimpse as to scale of Disney’s undertaking. The few scenes we see are expansive in size and scope, paving way to a wealth of expectation as this remake looks to break the mold and transport us back to our childhood and introduce Mogli and his gang to a whole new generation.
Directed by Jon Favreau and featuring the voice talent of Ben Kingsley, Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o and Christopher Walken, the film is set to take over theaters on April 15th.
