Taylor Sheridan, man of many television series, will have one less series to worry about soon. Mayor of Kingstown, starring Jeremy Renner, has received a fifth and final season order with a shortened eight episodes.
Set in the fictional Kingstown, Michigan, the show follows the McLusky family, power brokers specializing in the business of incarceration. Renner stars as Michael “Mike” McLusky with Edie Falco also starring as Nina Hobbs, a newly appointed warden at Kingstown prison. The show was created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon and premiered in 2021.
