Premiering at Sundance Film Festival and acquired by Amazon Studios, Mindy Kaling’s new film, Late Night, has a scheduled release date of June 7. Written, produced and starring Kaling, the film also has Emma Thompson as the dry late night talk show host, running her show with bare minimum for the last decade. That is, until she hires her only female staff writer (Kaling.)
