Fans of the first Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be thrilled to see that the gang is back in the first photos from its sequel, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
In the upcoming sequel, Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) has escaped from MACUSA’s custody and is on the run, gathering strength and followers. Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) recruits his former student Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to help him.
The photos give us our first look at Newt Scamander reunited with Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), a look at Jude Law as a young Dumbledore, and Johnny Depp as Grindelwald. The film also features Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller and Zoe Kravitz. Directed by David Yates, with a screenplay by J.K. Rowling, the film is slated for release on November 16, 2018.
