On August 6, 2010 Columbia Pictures will release The Other Guys, a action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell. The world premiere for the film will take place on August 2, 2010 in New York. But unlike other films, the fun won't stop there.
That's right. Columbia Pictures is throwing another premiere in another city...and you get to decide where!
For a limited time, fans are encouraged to go on facebook and vote for your city as the host destination of the correctly titled 'Other Premiere'.
Votes will be tabulated and the top 10 cities will be announced on July 21st. The list will be narrowed down even further on July 26th when the top 5 cities are announced. Then, on August 2, the winning city will be unveiled live on NBC's 'Today Show'.
You can vote once a day, and it will take a group effort to get the premiere here in Austin. So post it on your facebook, hit up the twitter and get the word out - this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and we need to make it happen! Time is running out. Hurry!
