Marvel Sets Date for Captain America Sequel

Marvel has officially announced that the sequel to the blockbuster Captain American: First Avenger will hit theaters on April 4, 2014.  Star Chris Evans will return and the film is said to pick up right where The Avengers, which is due out May 4, 2012, leaves off.

Marvel Brings Stories Full Circle

Comic book movies are not anything new; despite the craze of the past decade and studios buying up every property they can, they’ve been around since before Christopher Reeves made me believe a man could fly. I had no interest in seeing this film when it hit theaters earlier this year. I'm not sure if it had to do with the soft PG rating or the middle school plotline, but something had deterred my interest. But after a strong showing at the box office I decided to give Thor Freudenthal's Diary of a Wimpy Kid a chance, and boy was I impressed.
