When I started watching this film I thought it was going to be the standard HBO after dark documentary glorifying the porn industry, but surprisingly, Aroused provides a fresh look at adult entertainment. 

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has always been a man of mystery.  A unique personality and a knack for picking creative projects, the talented actor has made a name for himself through unconventional roles.  It comes as no surprise that Don Jon, Levitt's directorial debut, pushes the envelope by cleverly mixing aspects of sex and porn with the rigors of growing up.

I finished Sex and Lucia and was left wondering what had just happened. After a little over 2 hours of watching Lucia, the title character, on screen as she wandered about her life, I was left feeling a bit bereft and very confused. And while you think that the film is from Lucia's point of view, it actually centers more around Lorenzo. Complicated? Yes.
