Red Carpet: Safety Not Guaranteed: SXSW Film Festival 2012

An interesting newspaper ad about time travel sparked the unique indie film Safety Not Guaranteed. The film screened at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival where we were granted a spot on the red carpet to speak to the likes of Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass, Jake Johnson and others about the film, its 'hipster' appeal, and just how much fun they had on set.

Red Carpet: The Raid: Redemption: SXSW Film Festival 2012

Pitting a group of elite cops against the city's ultimate crime lord is nothing new.  Throw in a 30 story building and the non-stop presence of high stakes martial arts action and The Raid: Redemption becomes quite unique.  At its recent showing at the SXSW Film Festival we got a spot on the red carpet where we learned about the film, as well as the potential for a well-earned sequel.

Red Carpet: The Cabin in the Woods: SXSW Film Festival 2012

Lionsgate's The Cabin in the Woods opened the SXSW Film Festival. We were fortunate to get a spot on the highly sought after red carpet as the stars arrived for the big premiere. Through the pouring rain and gusting winds we were able to gather some information about the film, the unique shoot, the character influences, and just how big a fan of horror each of them truly is.

Red Carpet: Save the Date: Sundance Film Festival 2012

Michael Mohan's Save the Date premiered last month at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.  On hand for the red carpet walk was director Mohan, as well as stars Lizzy Caplan, Alison Brie, Geoffrey Arend, and Mark Webber, all of whom dished about the film, their characters, and just how well they all bonded on set.

 

Red Carpet: Black Rock: Sundance Film Festival 2012

Katie Aselton, Lake Bell and Kate Bosworth were on hand to walk the red carpet on an extremely cold night in Park City where their film, BLACK ROCK, was debuting at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. A gritty, thriller that centers on three woman and their will for survival, Black Rock opened the door to several topics, including the film's genre, and just how weird and crazy the story really is!

Red Carpet: That's What She Said: Sundance Film Festival 2012

Carrie Preston's That's What She Said premiered last month at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.  We were on hand for its world unveiling, meeting the cast as they walked the red carpet.  We got to speak with director Preston and stars Alia Shawkat and Anne Heche about the raunchy female element in the film, and just what its like being in Sundance.

 

Red Carpet: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold: SXSW Film Festival 2011

Morgan Spurlock has garnered must attention for his unique documentaries. His latest,The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, is no different. After debuting at the Sundance Film Festival, Spurlock brought his film to Austin for the annual SXSW Film Festival. He walked the red carpet, and we were lucky enough to be there to talk to him.
