Casting The CW's 'The Carrie Diaries'

For anyone who saw the second Sex and the City movie, you know your favorite foursome of ladies might have overstayed their welcome. What was once a fairly relatable story (minus a few Samantha story lines - I was always a Miranda fan) became a fashion show cheese fest. But like most fans I'll be first in line to seeSex and the City 8: The Golden Years where Manolo Blahniks are replaced with house slippers in a quest to conquer the fashion of old age.

Interview: Stev-o: Jackass 3-D

Jackass 3-D has been setting records at the box office since its release last week.  While critics had been giving Paramount Pictures much skepticism about the reception the film would receive once it hit theaters, the studio has become the last one laughing…all the way to the bank in fact.  Shortly before its release we caught up with Stev-o at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas where he spilled a little bit about his film, the differences in filming the stunts sober and just how the guys took advantage of the new 3-D wave!

Tobin Bell: Saw V

After a long stint in television, Tobin Bell finally broke into the world of theatrical cinemas in 2004, starring alongside Danny Glover and Monica Potter in the indie horror hit Saw. What followed could never have been expected as Bell has had the opportunity to reprise his role as the villainous Jigsaw in the franchise's four sequels. In the process, he has become a household name amongst the genre's most die-hard fans.

Ever since Superbad, I have always looked forward to the next Michael Cera film. While he tends to play the same awkward yet funny leading male role, he always manages to steal your heart and deliver such simple lines that will have you chuckling long after the scene has changed. Needless to say, Youth in Revolt is no exception. From the cast, crazy storyline, and the adorable Michael Cera, this movie is a definite must-see.

I have been looking forward to Where the Wild Things Are since I first saw the trailer a few months ago! The preview showcased an artful take on the classic childhood story, written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak. My research on the film began immediately: The movie would be directed by Spike Jonze, an eccentric writer/director/producer whose resume boasts some of the most bizarre and inventive movies/music videos ever to hit the screen. A frame-by-frame analysis of the trailer revealed that most, if not all, of the “wild things” would be making an appearance in the film.
