Adele Expecting First Child

While we rarely report on music, anything with Adele tends to trump anything and everything relating to entertainment. 

So with that being said, it is a pleasure to announce to you all that this morning, via her personal blog, Adele announced that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

In a statement, Adele said:

I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx

Sounds like the chart topping singer will have something a little happier to sing about when her next album his store shelves.  Sadly, that day might be a bit further off than any of her fans had originally hoped.
