Bearing the tagline of "Who Killed Rosie Larson?" AMC's 'The Killing' is one of the most raw and gutless shows on the air right now.  Taking a single crime and using it to intertwine a series of intricate plotlines, the cast and crew have effectively created an intense story that continues to leave you on the edge of your seat, anxious to know what happens next.

Mireille Enos stars as Sarah Linden, a tough Seattle detective who is in the process of moving when the cast is thrown her way.  Paired with her replacement, she works herself ragged as she attempts to piece together the clues and offer the Larson family a shred of closure in the wake of their daughters horrific death.  But the case isn't quite as cut and dry as Sarah originally expected - and her involvement quickly escalates to fascination as she finds herself becoming personally attached to the files.

Each of the thirteen original episodes encompasses a single day in the investigation.  We watch as evidence is discovered, leads are obtained and cleared, and just how much work goes into figuring out the tiniest of details.

An all star cast from top to bottom help to craft memorable characters that you simply can't clear your mind of.  You long for justice and find yourself working to piece together the evidence as you watch.  But the show's creators stay one step ahead of you, using your own mind against you as twists and turns become an everyday occurrence in the lives of the city's finest police detectives.

In addition to an extended season finale presentation, this three disc set includes an audio commentary of the pilot, deleted scenes, a gag real, and a behind-the-scenes feature.  Together they complete a package that provides 587 minutes of heart-pounding intensity.  But be careful before you start it...you'll have a hard time shutting it off!
